Description: The
popup generator tool lets you design any hovering DHTML popup you like, proven
to increase your response rates many times over.
The popup generator is written in DHTML, and forms part of the page, so it's
hard for pay per click search engines and popup blockers to pick up. Now you
can make your own without having to pay the $60 or $70 that other sites charge
you for it.
Simply fill in the boxes with the html attributes you want, test it, and cut
and paste the code into your webpage.
Predefined Styles: Choose from the dropdown
box whether you want your popup to have a Blue Window, Red Window or a simple
border.
Behaviour: Here you set the position of
the Popup on the page, and the frequency with which the Popup appears.
Appearance: Set your Popup's colour, font,
border and window styles using HTML colour codes.
Email: Turning
this option on will add the email option to your popup and will automatically
add an OK button to send an email to the email address that you specify. What's
more, it is programmed to send the email automatically without the user having
to open an email client or perform any other action. This is a very powerful
feature for lifting response rates.
User Data: This is where you enter the
contents of your popup. Note that this is in HTML and so the text you enter
here must be formatted in HTML to get the best results. If you have trouble
with HTML, then design your popup in your webpage editor and then Cut and Paste
the html copy into the user data box. If you cut and paste HTML from your editor,
cut and paste all the code except for the <HTML> and <BODY> tags.
Test it!
Click on "Get code & Test it" and your popup will appear together with a second
window containing the popup code - simply copy the code over into your webpage
and you will be in business. Bear in mind that if you have set the popup option
to view once only, you will only be able to see it once. If you want to test
more often you need to clear the cookie first. Do this by going to your control
panel > internet options>temporary internet files>settings>view
files. Locate the cookie from the list from splutweb.com and delete it. When
you open the page again, the popup will reappear.
Use the Pop-Up Generator.
